The Red Cedar Inn restaurant - along old Route 66 in Pacific, Missouri, USA - just outside St. Louis - serves great food including steaks, seafood, country cooking, and desserts. The Red Cedar Inn is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and has been designated a "site worth seeing" on Route 66 by the Route 66 caravan sponsored by Hampton Inn hotels "Save-A-Landmark" campaign. Check out these and other things on our

The Red Cedar Inn restaurant was founded in 1934 by brothers James and Bill Smith in Pacific, Missouri. The building has remained with the Smith family ever since. The Red Cedar Inn was built on the then new Route 66, and has been a Route 66 landmark ever since. Read more about our history on

The Red Cedar Inn is currently run by the Route 66 Phoenix Company, owned by Wes Karna. Ginger Gallagher, the granddaughter of James Smith I also helps run the business. Her mother, Katherine Smith, wife of James Smith II, still owns the building today (and bakes our brownies!). Read more on our
